By using smart technologies associated with a mobile application (Patent pending), OneBlip is responding to the growing demand of today’s changing generation who prefer sharing rather than owning. Collaborative consumption is an emerging trend that spreads rapidly, driven by the use of modern technologies and social media. Sharing assets such as cars, skills or spaces has never been as easy as it is today.
OneBlip distinguishes itself from its competitors by integrating itself into the daily lifestyles of individuals who live in high density, high cost locations. It does this by offering a solution through enabling individuals to come together and share cars and even car park spaces in these locations. This means that individuals can have access to a car and car parking space that they traditionally may not have been able to afford. For the owner of the car and the car parking space in the residential complex, it changes the profile of their asset and cost structure by decreasing the ratio of under-utilisation of this asset and cost – which traditionally sits dormant for a vast majority of its useful time.
Car owners are able to charge a fee to rent out their cars when they are not using them and borrowers can access nearby cars and pay only for the time they need to use them, with a fully integrated mobile app that brings owners and borrowers together, manages rental bookings and dispatches payments seamlessly.
A security system protects your car against theft and you can manage your account entirely from your mobile phone.
